As with all web marketing strategies, inbound marketing requires the use of many tools to be implemented. You will find below a selection of tools that I use regularly to help my clients …
Google Keyword Planner
It’s probably the most useful tool for your SEO and content strategy. The Keyword Planner is an extension of Google AdWords that lets you know the number of monthly searches for an expression. This will give you ideas for keywords to use in your semantic cocoon and topics for your next blog post. You can also filter by city, region, country, and even by the language used.
The free version gives a range of search volume, only the paid version will allow you to obtain precise data. To do this, you will need to launch a Google AdWords campaign.
Google Trends will also allow you to have:
Ubersuggest is a super useful keyword generator for working on the long tail of your SEO. It will help you find out what your audience is looking for, all listed in alphabetical order.
Answer The Public
Rather unknown, but still great, Answer The Public lets you know what questions your audience is asking according to the chosen keyword.
The results are organized into different themes: Who? What? Or ? How? ‘Or’ What ? Why ? When?
Example with the keyword “visit Paris”
- “Visit Paris without walking”
- “Visit Paris with an elderly person”
- “How to visit Paris in 7 days?”
- “What to visit Paris 9th?”
- “When to visit the catacombs of Paris?”
- “What garden to visit in Paris?”
