The carousel ad format has already been in use on other social networks for many years, especially on Facebook and Instagram. Sprout Social reports that this type of format generates 10 times more web traffic for businesses than single-image ads.
Another study published on Facebook also reports that Carousel ads generate a click-through rate of + 72% compared to single images.
Before Twitter launched, the social network had carried out tests with finally positive results. Carousel ads have increased reach by 24% on average compared to traditional formats, while carousel ads for websites have increased the average click-through rate (CTR) by about 15% according to this study.
