RTB Advertising Model


RTB is an auction-based display ad (from the English term Real Time Bidding). Several advertisers compete with each other for the right to display ads to a specific user in real time, raising bids. The cost of publication varies depending on the location, category of the advertisement, user characteristics.

The intermediary between the advertiser and the seller of the place are RTB systems. These are online exchanges offering bidding management platforms. The ad server calculates in milliseconds which ad will be loaded on the page of a specific user.

When using RTB advertising, special attention should be paid to the CTR index. If it falls, your campaign’s competitiveness will decrease, which will negatively impact your impressions.
